The partnership between fashion house Maison Margiela and Reebok is continuing into 2022, kicking the new year off with a fresh take on the Classic Leather Décortiqué from last year, coming soon in a low-top iteration.

The relationship between fashion label Maison Margiela and Reebok began in 2020, with the Margiela house designing their highly unique takes on beloved Reebok silhouettes like the Club C and Classic Leather. As one might expect, the initial designs for these shoes simply added Margiela’s signature Tabi toe to the design, transforming the vintage tennis trainer into a fashion sneaker. Then, in 2021, the two debuted the Classic Leather Décortiqué, a high-top Classic that featured many of the shoe’s underlays removed for a hollow, sandal-like design. Now, that Décortiqué is evolving, changing its shape into a low-top for the new year. Unveiled this week and set to release at the end of the month, the new Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather Décortiqué Low will arrive in four colorways, black, white, red, and the collaborator’s signature cement-like stained look.
