The partnership between London’s Maharishi and Reebok began this past Summer, when the two teamed up for a special-edition Classic Leather Legacy AZ. Now, the two have reunited for the ‘Hemp’ LT Court, coming soon.
Earlier this year, ‘pacifist military’-inspired brand Maharishi brought their extensive material knowledge to a new collaboration with fellow United Kingdom brand Reebok, teaming up for an elevated take on the Classic leather Legacy. The project applied Maharishi’s textile expertise to the silhouette with a wealth of high quality fabrics. Now, the two have teamed up to release another sneaker, this time in the form of the 1980s LT Court, originally released for tennis and other court sports. The Maharishi version brings some interesting changes to the silhouette, constructing the upper from a natural-colored hemp fabric, mixing in off-white suedes for the toes, heels, and lacing system. Hints of olive green are added to the various branding marks, inner lining, outsole, and the LT Court’s signature forefoot plastic piece to complete the look.
MAHARISHI X REEBOK LT COURT ‘HEMP’ RELEASE INFORMATION
The next project from London’s Maharishi and Reebok has been set to debut later this month, on October 28th, 2022. The hemp-constructed colorway of the LT Court sneaker will be available first from the clothing brand’s website, followed by a wider release from Reebok and select accounts worldwide.
