Reebok has teamed up with Dreamworks Animation’s Kung-Fu Panda franchise to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, releasing a collection of footwear led by the Club C that takes inspiration from the films’ many characters and ideas.
Reebok’s collaborative efforts have reached new heights over the past year, with the athletic brand teaming up with high fashion designers, streetwear brands, and now, movie franchises. This week, Reebok unveiled its debut project of the new year, which sees them teaming up with Dreamworks’ Kung-Fu Panda franchise for a collection of sneakers inspired by the films. The project includes a total of four footwear options as well as a small assortment of co-branded apparel. On the sneaker side of things, the collection is led. by two different pairs of Reebok’s classic Club C trainer in highly contrasting color schemes, while the Instapump Fury and Zig Kinetica also make appearances. First up, the plain white leather Club C features a colorful inner lining and character-covered insoles, while the zanier patchwork pair takes inspiration from the various kung-fu characters in the movies for its paneling. The Instapump Fury honors the titular Kung-Fu Panda himself, Po, through a black and white base with tan overlays, while the collection’s Zig Kinetica turns a Lunar New Year celebration into an all-over printed graphic.

The upcoming collection from Reebok and the Kung-Fu Panda movie franchise has been scheduled to release later this week, on January 7th, 2021. Featuring two pairs of the Club C, the Instapump Fury, and the Zig Kinetica, the collection ranges in price from $100 to $200, alongside an assortment of apparel all available directly from Reebok’s website.
