Ronnie Fieg has cooked up a new project with New Balance for November, celebrating Madison Square Garden with the ‘MSG’ Pack of the 990v6, featuring colors inspired by the Knicks and Rangers.

Ronnie Fieg regularly uses his sneaker collaborations through Kith to express his both his inner child, and his love of his hometown, New York City. The former arrive this year through the Asics’ x X-Men release, and the latter gets a nod this month in an upcoming project with New Balance, featuring the 990v6 in the ‘MSG’ pack. Celebrating NYC’s iconic arena, home to numerous sports teams over the years as well as some famous musical performances, this release highlights the two current tenants, the NHL’s New York Rangers and the NBA’s New York Knicks. The teams’ colors are represented across two pairs of the 990v6.

The Knicks pair begins with an upper in shades of white and tan across its mesh, suede, and leather build. Flashes of Knicks orange appear on the ‘N’ logos, as well as the tongues and heels. The Rangers’ look features a mostly black upper, with grey mid layers and red and blue hues added to the branding, tongues, and heels. Both styles will come in a special Madison Square Garden-branded box, as well as a matching drawstring bag.

Kith’s latest project with New Balance has not been given an official release date yet, though they are expected to drop sometime in November 2023. Celebrating Madison Square Garden through the 990v6 in both Knicks and Rangers colorways, pairs will likely release exclusively through Kith, with an expected price tag of $220.
