Ronnie Fieg’s Kith brand is celebrating ten years in 2022, releasing plenty of exciting collaborations for the occasion. This week, the NYC-based boutique is releasing the latest New Balance collection to celebrate forty years of 990 and 10 years of Kith.
Kith and New Balance have been cooking up an exciting project over the last year, and we are finally seeing the fruits of their labor release this week. Marking the fortieth anniversary of the 990 silhouette, in addition to Ronnie Fieg’s fortieth birthday, this release honors the 10 years Kith has been in business with four generations of the 990, each flipping one of Kith’s classic NB collaborations. Seen here is the 990v4 from the project, which rehashes the beloved three-way United Arrows collaboration from several years back. This 990v4 begins with a dark grey mesh underlay, adding the v4’s signature overlays in a matching steel grey tone. The United Arrows’ bright pink and purple accents make up the shoe’s mid-layers, while a black tongue and laces finish off the upper. The midsole comes in split tones, plain white for the front and an aged yellowed look for the heels.
KITH X NEW BALANCE 990V4 ‘UNITED ARROWS’ RELEASE INFORMATION
Kith’s upcoming release of the New Balance 990v4, which rehashes the fan-favorite United Arrows collaboration, is slated to release this week on June 15th, 2022. The steely-grey style will be available in full-family sizing directly from Kith alongside the rest of the Ronnie Fieg for New Balance collection, with elevated prices for all styles.
