If you haven’t started riding the Jaden Smith and New Balance wave, it may be time to start. While the Vision Racer, short in existence, has only released in one colorway, more editions have begun to surface left and right with the latest being this bright Yellow variation.
With the initial Wavy Baby Blue colorway of the Vision Racer being a huge hit among New Balance and sneaker fans alike, New balance appears to have a huge plan for the singer’s first signature shoe. While the sneaker didn’t arrive in the trendiest of styles, sneaker fans acknowledged the vision and the originality of the model. Along with seeing the effort, it’s also easy to support a sneaker collaboration that isn’t forced and held together by a contract. Jaden and New Balance genuinely have love and respect for each other and that has been evident throughout the last couple of years, which is something you hardly see in the robust sneaker industry.
With another edition surfacing for a release that strayed away from Jaden’s all-over colorway and shined some light onto the New Balance legacy with Navy and Gold detailing, we now have another glimpse at a future release that’s back in the same aesthetic as the OG. Swapping out the original Baby Blue, this rendition applies a Yellow theme to the mesh and suede upper. The bright design is complemented with minor grey suede overlays on the paneling which allows for New Balances’ “N” logo to be placed in. The boastful midsole finishes off the design in the same palette as the upper while the Vision outsole finishes off the new offering.
