Japanese brand Human Made and adidas have forged a strong bond in the past year, releasing new projects on a regular basis. This week, the two are set to debut the Nigo-headed label’s reworked versions of the Nizza High and the Marathon High.
The expansive partnership from adidas and Human Made kicked off late last year when Nigo’s label added their signature heart logos to Pharrell’s range of Hu sneakers. Since then, the two have been releasing new projects with surprising regularity this year, from classic silhouettes like the Stan Smith and Superstar as well as signature shoes like the recent Tokio Solar, and now, reworked versions of the Nizza and Marathon models. The Nizza High is the more recognizable of the two, retaining the classic court shoe’s basic structure, adding a zipper to the inner side for a more adjustable fit. The Human Made Nizza High will be available in off-white or plain grey, both featuring an array of Human Made branding across the upper and midsole. The Marathon comes in its rare High variation and now features the tough Boost outsole from adidas Terrex’s Freehiker trail runner. The Human Made Marathon will also be available in two colorways, one brown and white with soft yellow accents, and the other a medium grey mixed with red and blue tones.

The latest collection from Nigo’s Human Made and adidas Originals has been scheduled to release later this week, on November 25th, 2020. The collection includes the modified Nizza High and Marathon High as well as a full spread of apparel, with prices ranging from $70 to $350 at adidas and select retailers.
