Hot Ones has some new heat for us this month, and this time it isn’t a new signature hot sauce. This week, the Complex show unveiled a new collaboration with Reebok, featuring a chili pepper-inspired colorway of the classic Shaqnosis
Complex’s Hot Ones has been a cultural phenomenon ever since the Youtube interview show first blew up a few years ago, remixing typical press interviews in a wild new way. Much of the show’s success can be directly attributed to Sean Evans, the host and repeated victim of the “Wings of Death”. However, this week marks a first for a popular show, as a new sneaker collaboration with Reebok has surfaced online featuring plenty of Hot Ones-inspired details. Teaming up with Reebok for a special colorway of the Shaqnosis, this Hot One’s edition begins with black leather and suede uppers, broken up by the Shaqnosis signature radial lines in gradient colors, starting in green and fading to red. The tongue label has been replaced with Hot Ones’ famous Spice Meter maxed out at 1.9 million Scovilles, while a flame overlay on the tongue and flame lined sockliner complete the look.
HOT ONES X REEBOK SHAQNOSIS RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming project from Complex’s Hot One’s video series and Reebok, featuring the classic Shaqnosis, has been scheduled to release next month, on November 19th, 2020. The colorful chili-inspired pair will be available from both Reebok and select retailers, with a price tag of approximately $140.
