Salomon XT-4 OG Ferxxocalipsis

The Feid x Salomon XT-4 OG “Ferxxocalipsis” is the public release of Feid’s formerly friends-and-family-only Salomon collab, and it dropped on May 9, 2026 for $200. It is the second sneaker collaboration between Salomon and the Colombian artist, a limited-edition reimagining of the iconic XT-4 OG that brings his bold, electric aesthetic to a wider audience after the original 100-pair run became one of the year’s most chased grails. Salomon sent JustFreshKicks a pair to try out, and our hands-on first impressions sit below the release details.

Last Fall, Salomon surprised us with a rare collaboration outside of their usual stable of retail partners. The French outdoor brand teamed up with Colombian artist Feid for a special project, bringing the singer/songwriter’s visual identity to life through the XT-Pathway runner. The shoe’s striking green colorway was popular among Salomon enthusiasts, but many were clamoring for the ultra-limited XT-4 F&F pair Feid was spotted wearing at concerts. That version kept the same shocking green but paired it with a black mesh base and orange accents. Pairs were limited to just 100 total and given strictly to Feid’s friends & family. The shoe even appeared onstage at the 2024 Latin Grammys before Salomon finally produced a wider batch of the “Ferxxo” style for the public.

Feid x Salomon XT-4 OG “Ferxxo” Release Info

Feid and Salomon gave fans a shot at the friends & family pair on May 9, 2026, releasing the XT-4 OG “Ferxxo” through an EQL raffle on Salomon for $200. Entries ran from May 4 to May 7, and the drop covered North America and Latin America. That raffle has since closed, so the pair now trades on the resale market through StockX and GOAT.

Our Take: Wearing the Feid x Salomon XT-4 OG “Ferxxocalipsis”

The Feid x Salomon XT-4 OG “Ferxxocalipsis” makes a strong first impression, both as a collectible and as a shoe you can actually wear. Salomon just sent JustFreshKicks a pair, so these are our early, hands-on thoughts after getting them on foot. Here is how they look and feel once you take them off the album cover and onto the street.

Salomon provided this pair for review. Our impressions are our own.

Comfort and Fit

The XT-4 OG is built around Salomon’s full-length Agile Chassis Skeleton and a dual-density EVA midsole, and you feel both the moment you stand up. There is effectively no break-in. The SensiFit panels wrap the midfoot and the Quicklace cinches the whole upper into a snug, locked-down hold with one pull. Underfoot the cushioning is firm and stable rather than soft and bouncy, which suits a shoe that splits its life between city concrete and the occasional trail. On sizing, the XT-4 OG runs true to size for most feet and sits slightly roomier than the narrower XT-6. We stayed true to size and would only go up a half if you have wide feet or want extra toe room.

The Quicklace System and Build

Quicklace is the detail people either love right away or have to learn. One pull tightens the entire lace, then the excess tucks into the tongue pocket, so there is nothing to tie and nothing to come undone mid-day. It makes these a genuine slip-and-go shoe. The rest of the build is classic Salomon: welded overlays, a gusseted tongue that keeps debris out, and a Contagrip outsole whose lugs look ready to bite on wet pavement and loose ground far better than most lifestyle runners. Everything about the construction feels overbuilt in the best way, which tracks for a silhouette with genuine trail DNA.

The “Ferxxocalipsis” Details

This is where the collab earns its price. The black mesh base carries signature FERXXO-green overlays and shocking-orange accents inspired by the artwork from Feid’s Ferxxocalipsis album, and Salomon added signature lace charms, a first for the brand. As Feid put it, the team “pushed boundaries by adding signature charms, something never seen on a Salomon shoe before.” In person the green reads brighter and more electric than most product photos suggest, and the orange keeps the pair from blending in with every other blacked-out technical runner.

Is the Feid x Salomon XT-4 OG Worth It?

Yes, if you can find a pair near retail. At $200 the Feid x Salomon XT-4 OG “Ferxxocalipsis” is rare among artist collabs because the shoe underneath the graphics is genuinely good, so you are not paying purely for a name on the tongue. Here is the short version of our verdict:

  • Comfort: ready to wear out of the box, no break-in, with a firm and stable ride.
  • Fit: true to size, a touch roomier than the XT-6; go half up for wide feet.
  • Standout: the album-art color story plus Salomon’s first-ever lace charms.
  • Worth it if: you want a loud collab that is built to be worn, not just sat in a display case.
