Feature continues to impress with their Las Vegas and gambling-themed sneaker collaborations, unveiling their latest project with Saucony earlier this month. Dubbed the “Chocolate Chip”, this Shadow 6000 launches later this week.
Feature’s hometown of Las Vegas has provided the high-end boutique with plenty of inspiration for their collaborations with various sneaker brands, launching a number of projects with themes centered around gambling and some of the other after hours activities the desert city is known for. This time around, Saucony and Feature are paying homage to the vintage $5,000 poker chip used throughout the city’s casinos, which used a somewhat muted palette of brown with green and pink accents. Feature’s sneaker version takes that a step further, implementing premium materials like a faux-pony hair base layer, smooth nubuck, and dark brown suede. Green hints highlight the Saucony river logo as well as some embroidered touches, while a vibrant pink ‘Lucky You!’ adorns the shoe’s medial sides.
