British clothing retailer END. has unveiled their latest footwear collaboration, teaming up with Saucony for another food-inspired look. Using the Shadow 6000 as their canvas, the ‘Fried Chicken’ look releases this week.
Saucony’s classic Shadow 6000 runner has become a frequent blank canvas for the brand’s numerous collaborations, lending out the retro style to brands and retailers around the world to experiment with. One of their frequent partners is the United Kingdom’s END. Clothing, who have worked on a number of the American running brand’s sneakers over the years. This week, the pair unveiled their upcoming ‘Fried Chicken’-inspired take on the Shadow 6000, which releases this Friday. The new style features an upper constructed from two kinds of ‘Mustard’-toned suede, a smooth leather for the shoe’s base layers, with shaggier pieces layered on top. The heel counters and Saucony river logos come in red, the latter of which features a tiny chicken drumstick leather piece attached at the rear. Furry laces and Fried Chicken logos on each tongue complete the look.
