Kohei Okita’s Reebok eightyone collection is readying its first release of 2021. Created to blur the lines between fashion and sportswear, the Reebok eightyone Club C Stomper makes its debut this week in a beautiful navy blue colorway.

The Reebok eightyone project planted its roots just over one year ago, and has grown into a fully-fledged fashion line for the storied sportswear brand. Conceptualized and designed by Kohei Okita, a Japanese fashion designer and the founder of VAINL ARCHIVE, the eightyone line takes its name from Japan’s +81 country code, and aims to merge premier sportswear with high-end fashion design. With several projects already under their belt, Okita and Reebok are gearing up for their first release of 2021, the Reebok eightyone Club C Stomper. An amalgamation of the classic Club C and Reebok’s signature Stomper from the Alien movies, the eightyone version of the mashup sneaker arrives in a deep navy blue color scheme. The shoe’s upper is largely constructed from premium leather, though the Stomper-inspired midfoot strap is made from suede. The tongue comes in white, while grey heel tabs and pops of bright blue shine through the rest of the silhouette. eightyone branding replaces the typical Reebok logo on the lateral sides, while dual-branded insoles complete the look.
