DC Comics and Reebok are readying their first collaboration, turning the brand’s classic sneakers into various characters from the DC universe. Check out this ‘Joker’-themed Club C, launching in December.
The DC Comics universe is making its way into the world of footwear next month, launching a collection of hero & villain-themed silhouettes. While the collection is still largely under wraps, this week we have an early look at a pair inspired by the Batman’s arch nemesis, the Joker. Taking its themes from the Joker’s instantly-recognizable iconography, the silhouette begins with a black corduroy base layer, adding purple canvas overlays to the toes, midfoot, and heels, with an extra layer of of darker purple canvas in some spots. The inner linings and outsoles come in a faded green shade, while two different Joker logos adorn each tongue.
DC X REEBOK CLUB C ‘JOKER’ RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming collaboration between DC Comics and Reebok is expected to release next month, on December 2nd, 2022. Featuring this ‘Joker’-inspired look for the Club C trainer, pairs will likely be available from Reebok’s website and select retailers, with a price tag in the $120+ range.
