Longtime collaborative partners Concepts and New Balance are teaming up for a new release this year, casting the Made in USA 998 in a hot pink and yellow color scheme, coming soon.
East Coast brands Concepts and New Balance have teamed up regularly over the years to produce special-edition sneakers with exciting colorways. The last we saw from them came in 2021, with the kiwi-inspired 992, but this week we got an early look at the CNCPTS take on the 998. Borrowing their color scheme from the 2019 997S release, this pair begins with a white perforated leather base layer. Hot pink pieces of suede are added on top, with metallic silver layers peeking out from in between. Softer pink accents adorn the ‘N’ logos and midsole, while flashes of yellow along the heels, lacing system, and tongue branding complete the look.

Concepts and New Balance have not yet announced the release of their upcoming Made in USA 998, though we hope to see them drop sometime later this Summer or Fall. Dressed in hot pink to mimic their 2019 997S, pairs will likely be available first from CNCPTS followed by a wider NB release for $210.
