BILLY’S Tokyo and Reebok are reuniting this week, this time on a “Clam Chowder”-inspired take on the brand’s retro Interval ’96 runner. Offered in creamy white hues with bold orange and green accents, this release is available exclusively in Japan this week.

The Reebok Interval was first introduced in 1996 as the brand’s latest in high-performance running shoes. The Interval was a hit, thanks to its lightweight, yet thick upper that locked your feet in, combined with the responsiveness of DMX cushioning underfoot. The modern-day release retains these same key points, while also highlighting the shoe’s overall design. The shoe’s mesh upper is most notably covered by an oversized Reebok Vector logo on the lateral sides, which the BILLY’S team has colored in bright orange or neon green, as well as turning them into removable velcro patches. The rest of the shoe is covered in a thick cream white tone, representing the base of classic clam chowder.
