Angelo Baque’s AWAKE NY has been churning out exciting projects with Reebok over the past year, continuing in 2021 with a new release around the corner. Check out the AWAKE NY Club C and Classic Leather, each featuring new snakeskin detailing and matching colorways.
The first project from Reebok and New York streetwear brand AWAKE NY arrived approximately one year ago, giving the Angelo Baque-led design team a chance to rework a number of classic ‘Bok sneakers and clothing for a small capsule collection. The project was a massive hit among fans of the NYC brand, so much so that the two partners are back with another limited-edition collaboration to follow up on last year’s success. This time around, AWAKE will be taking on the Reebok Club C and Classic Leather, affixing each with a cream white leather construction accented by premium snakeskin overlays for the Reebok Vector logos. Bright blue Reebok & Awake branding adorns the tongues and quarter panel branding to complete the look.

The next project from AWAKE NY and Reebok has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime in the coming weeks. Both the Classic Leather and Club C featuring snakeskin overlays will be available directly from AWAKE’s website alongside an official Reebok release. UPDATE 3/10/21: AWAKE NY’s snakeskin-clad take on the Reebok Club C has surfaced overseas for a release this week, on Saturday, March 13th, landing on the release calendar of Italian boutique SivesDescalzo earlier this morning. The premium Club C will come with an elevated price tag of $142, likely also releasing from AWAKE and Reebok on the same day.
