While the Jordan Brand Classic was canceled this year due to COVID-19, an Air Jordan 9 Sample has surfaced dedicated to the annual event that showcases NBA’s upcoming rising stars.
Sadly not expected for a public release at this point, this Air Jordan 9 features a unique and interesting theme. The upper arrives in white leather around the midfoot and toes while patent leather equips the heel, mudguard, ankle collar, and toe overlays. Pink is then used for the tongue, midsole, and heel Jumpman branding which is something we hardly see from Jordan brand on their Retro silhouettes. Iridescent detailing then highlights the design on the lacing system, Jordan heel branding, and the galaxy-inspired midsole. A white rubber outsole finally adds the final touches.

The Air Jordan 9 “Jordan Brand Classic” doesn’t appear to be released to the public any time soon but it’s possible the iteration could release in the future as we’ve seen in the past with these special commemorative samples.
