Originally released back in 2006, the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” is set to return for a Retro rendition in 2023.
Released all the way back in 2006 and then Retro’s later in 2012, the Thunder offering is only half of the fan-favorite “Thunder and Lightning” pack from 06′. Now in 2023, the pair is expected to be Retro’s one more time, giving a new era of sneakerheads a chance to cop their own personal pair for the very first time.
Leaked images of the 23′ pair have surfaced, which can be viewed below. The offering is expected to arrive true to its predecessor, sporting a smooth black nubuck upper that’s detailed by black and contrasting yellow accents on the eyelets, quarter panels, and forefoot. A black and yellow polyurethane midsole exposed Air unit, and black outsole are added below to complete the design.
