The Air Jordan 2 has seen a surprise string of releases over the past year, celebrating the iconic, but often ignored model in a wave of new styles. This week we have a first look at the AJ2 Low with Python leather, coming in February.
Back in 2021, Off-White and Jordan released two colorways of the Jordan 2 Low, capturing details of vintage pairs and applying them to a brand new set. This release kicked off the brand’s revival of the Air Jordan 2, a shoe that was originally meant to encapsulate MJ’s high-end tastes, made by hand in Italy with premium materials. Since then the model has been a regular on Nike’s release calendar, reviving classic colorways as well as applying plenty of new palettes to the model. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Python’ pair arriving early next year. The look features a largely white leather upper, adding a pale grey shade to the inner lining, Wings logos, and outsoles. The tan brown python leather accent makes up the shoe’s collar and midfoot overlay for a premium finish.
