Jordan Brand is well aware of this, and regularly releases special-edition projects that celebrate China’s culture and love of the game, like their yearly Zodiac-themed collections. Next Summer, Jordan has a new release lined up to celebrate their Dongdan courts, the epicenter of street basketball in Beijing.
The Dongdan basketball tournament in China has become a pilgrimage of legend in the street ball scene. The courts themselves attract tourists from around the world for pickup games, akin to New York’s famous Rucker Park. Next Summer, Jordan Brand is set to release a special pair of the Air Jordan 13 Low celebrating the iconic venue and its annual tournament. Though no actual photos of the shoe are available yet, the pair sports a neutral “Oatmeal” off-white upper, paired with off-noir accents and more neutral beige shades to complete the look.

Jordan Brand has not yet announced the release of their special-edition Air Jordan 13 Low for Beijing’s “Dongdan” streetball courts. Dressed in an “Oatmeal”-based neutral color scheme, pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, with an estimated retail price of $200.
