The Air Jordan 1 has received plenty of attention from its creators in recent years, dropping in over 50 new colorways in the past 24 months. This week, Jordan continues these releases with the famous “Royal” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low.

The Air Jordan 1 is everywhere these days. The original “sneaker” that kickstarted a multi-billion dollar industry first released in 1985, as a performance shoe, before being adopted by just about every section of culture after the fact. Now, the Jordan 1 appears to be in its prime, thanks to regular releases of exciting new colorways and collaborations. This week, Jordan Brand is continuing this hot streak with another color option for the Air Jordan 1 Low. Taking on the famous “Royal” colorway, this pair begins with plain white quarter panels on either side, and smooth black leather overlays along the mudguard and lacing system, as well as the ever-present Swoosh.  The toe box and heel sections come in the namesake royal blue, which can also be spotted on the insoles and outsoles for an extra splash of color.
