The Air Jordan 1 KO appears to be making a comeback next year in 2021 which will include the coveted “Chicago” colorway.
Originally released in 1986 alongside the Air Jordan 1 High and Low, Jordan released the “KO” variation so all fans could grab up a pair of Jordan’s no matter how much money they had in their pockets. Swapping out the expensive leather build for canvas, the shoe cost a lot less but still provided the same Jordan 1 look just for less. Now for 2021 as Jordan Brand continues to add new takes to all of their coveted AJ1 kicks, the KO rendition will be back and probably stronger than ever.
This rendition offers the iconic “Chicago” color-blocking which features white canvas on the panelings and red on the toe, eyestay, forefoot, and ankle overlays which allows black to paint the Nike Swoosh and the Wing’s KO logo. The usual white midsole and red rubber outsole then finish off the new look.
