adidas Y-3 is known for utilizing premium materials and the latest technology to blend the lines between performance and streetwear. Now, the two are bringing the innovative new Futurecraft 4D sole to the luxury line.
Yohji Yamamoto is upping the ante on his signature footwear line with adidas. The new Y-3 Runner 4D will combine the Three Stripes most famous technologies, beginning with a fully Primeknit upper. Continuing with knit grey and black threads, the sleek silhouette takes on a slightly higher cut than a typical runner. The shoe also features black leather overlays around the heel, toe, and tongue for additional support. Reinforced cables are provided on the midfoot to provide more stability, as well as holding the laces in place and doubling as adidas Three Stripe branding. The silhouette sits on top of the standard Futurecraft 4D sole in “Ash Green”, the material’s natural color. The model is finished with by a plain black outsole.

Yohji Yamamoto’s latest Y-3 footwear is due out this Friday, February 23rd. The adidas Y-3 Runner 4D will be launched from limited adidas Y-3 retailers, like EndClothing, for a price of $535.
