While adidas Y-3 is normally always on their own wave of luxury silhouettes, the partnership will be looking towards a standard Three Stripes sneaker in the Ultra Boost 21 which will feature an all-new simplistic makeover.

adidas Y-3 will be taking the Ultra Boost 21 and stripping the silhouette’s standard look for a more minimalistic aesthetic we hardly ever see on adidas’ running line. Featured in two colorways either black or white, the silhouette arrives in the same shape as always with a switch up from brighter renditions to a monochromatic upper with a new classy overlay system on the toes and vamp. Tonal heel pieces are added in for support while Y-3 branded heel tabs shine in the usual aesthetic. Both designs are then finished off with the new and improved Boost midsole and outsole in white. Certainly not what we’re used to when it comes to the Ultra Boost silhouette, but overall a nice new edition to the UB21 collection that gives fans a new take on their beloved runner.

For now, all we have is first look images of a leaked sample of both colorways which you can enjoy below. As of now, it has not been announced officially but if they do release, you can expect to see them load up via sect adidas Y-3 retailers and adidas.com.
