The adidas Ultraboost has evolved quite a bit in recent months, transitioning back to a running-minded shoe with the 2019 iteration. However, this leaves somewhat of a gap in the Originals catalog, which is ready to be filled by the Ultraboost 2.0 “City Series”. This month, the series travels to Asia.

The original versions of the adidas Ultraboost have made the full transition to a lifestyle silhouette, thanks to the introduction of the UB19. However, this is great news for fans of the shoe, as the availability of the 1.0 and 2.0 iterations has made an enormous return in recent months. Now, adidas is celebrating the fans’ favorite shoe in recent history with a new City Series. After the initial launch of the traveling series last month, three new colorways have surfaced this week, showing off the next stop on the global tour. This time around, adidas is stopping in Asia, with special edition releases for Shanghai, China, Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan. Each shoe mixes white and black throughout the Primeknit uppers and Boost midsoles, with adidas’ multilingual branding printed repeatedly across each shoe. Similar to the first release, each pair features an accent color that stands out, red for Tokyo, orange for Shanghai, and muted shades of red & blue for Seoul.
