The adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 is preparing to launch the new “Show Your Stripes” collection. The pack adds some distinct new flair to the silhouette, giving the shoe a new look. Now, we have a good look at the navy blue pair from the Fall drop.

adidas is taking a new direction with the Ultra Boost franchise in 2018. With dozens of colorways and several variations currently available on the market, the brand has switching up their strategy to provide more unique pairs for collectors of the famous silhouette. Rumors have begun to swirl around social media that adidas plans to return to the original 1.0 Primeknit format of the Ultra Boost, a move fans have long been waiting for.

Similarly, adidas is releasing the Ultra Boost 4.0 “Show Your Stripes” collection, which borrows from fans’ ideas of painting the raised stripes on the TPU support cage. The new look will adorn three new Ultra Boost colorways, the second of which has just surfaced in official images. This pair blankets the entire upper of the sneaker in a smooth navy blue tone, though the 3D printed heel cup appears to be a slightly darker grey hue. The Ultra Boost 4.0 is complete with a white Boost midsole and Continental outsole, as well as white striped cages.
