You read it correctly, a hybrid silhouette just surfaced that showcases the adidas Ultra Boost upper with a 4D midsole.

It’s safe to say adidas has mastered the 4D process as The Brand with The Three Stripes has begun pairing up the midsole with different silhouettes and also making the 3-D printed midsole in a variety of different colors. This Ultra 4D is a perfect example of both of those ideas all in one shoe.

While we don’t have too much information to give on the new silhouette, it appears simply that the Ultra Boost upper that we have all loved for many years will see a different midsole, this time the coveted Boost technology will be swapped out for the technology of the future 4D. Other colorways will likely be releasing but this iteration dons a white base upper that features tonal Three Stripes branding on the midfoot cage as well as a bright white lacing system.. Adding just a tiny bit of contrast the heel counter and 4D midsole dons an egg-shell white colorway that sets itself apart from the crisp white primeknit upper.
