Although the adidas superstars’ 50th Anniversary year is officially over, adidas will be dropping a special iridescent Abalone rendition of the classic silhouette.
2020 shined a light on the Superstar like never before with new editions releasing throughout all 12 months of the year. Now as the celebratory year is over, the sneaker is still expected to have a great 2021 with all the momentum it gained from last year. This rendition features the classic white leather and shell toed upper along which is detailed with iridescent abalone detailing on the Three Stripes branding, heel overlay, and tongue branding. Due to the iridescent technology, the Abalone detailing changes between purple, blue, and green depending on what direction you’re seeing the shoe from which is always an added plus.
