adidas has a futuristic design in store for their NMD R1 that calls for a blue iridescent boost midsole.
The NMD R1 will always be a staple for adidas when it comes to new colorways. While the silhouette isn’t a “hyped” sneaker-like it was at its peak, the shoe has a huge fan base that is always ready for new themes and looks. With the NMD R1 V2 in production this year, fans have been given a break and even though this is the OG silhouette, it’s still a breath of fresh air.
This edition features a clean Cloud White primeknit upper that sees tonal overlays throughout on the tongue label, heel counter and the Three Stripes branding on the side paneling. Futuristic vibes are then given to the Boost midsole as the comfortable technology is paired with shimmery blue and purple iridescent. White EVA insert overlays add extra detailing that matches perfectly with the white rubber outsole.
