adidas’ classic Forum basketball shoe has returned for 2021, rehashing the quintessential adidas basketball shoe in a variety of new vintage-styled releases. This week, the Three Stripes showed off a new Premium edition of the Forum Low, coming soon.
The adidas Forum revival is in full swing by now, with the Three Stripes rolling out new colorways on a monthly basis alongside special edition projects like the limited-edition pairs created by boutique retailers, and an upcoming collaboration with Bad Bunny featuring the classic basketball shoe. The initial wave of adidas’ retro Forum releases consisted largely of vintage stylings, playing into the ‘aged’ look that is popular among sneaker moodboards at the moment. This week, adidas has another new iteration to add to the mix, this time rebuilding the Forum Low in a Premium edition, built from high-quality materials and details. The look features a split-color construction, dividing the shoe into top and bottom halves, the first colorway of which mixes a stark white lower body to a faded off-white tone for the top half, mixing in royal blue accents for the Three Stripes, heel counter, and outsole.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS FORUM LOW PREMIUM RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas Originals’ upcoming premium iteration of the 1984 Forum Low OG has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to land on shelves at both adidas’ and select retail accounts. Cast in two-tone white leather with bold blue accents, the Forum Low Premium will come with the usual price tag of $110.
