Another archival adidas silhouette is back in full force. After returning last Summer as a part of the Torsion Bar’s celebration, the adidas LXCON OG is back in 2020 with a brand new colorway borrowed directly from the fan-favorite ZX8000.
The adidas LXCON first entered the sneaker lexicon of many in the community in 2018, when the Three Stripes launched a rehauled version of the classic silhouette. Obviously, the shoe has been around for much longer, dating back to 1994. Originally built as a lightweight runner, the silhouette is constructed from layered mesh and featherweight leathers combined with an adiPrene sole for a smooth ride. The look of the LXCON 94 was aggressive, too, featuring thick Predator-inspired forward leaning stripes and lines built for speed. Now, back by popular demand, adidas is fulfilling fans’ dreams with their latest colorway, inspired by the ZX8000. Decked out in aqua blue tones, the LXCON’s stripes, inner lining, and various accents come in bright yellow, while a deep purple adds just a tad more color.

adidas’ latest colorway for the retro LXCON 94, which takes after the legendary ZX8000, released earlier this week from Kentucky retailer Oneness. The bright color scheme retails for the usual $140 price tag, and is expected to release from adidas and more in the coming weeks.
