The team at adidas Originals loves to take inspiration from some of the most inane sources. This month, we have our first look at two new NMD_R1 sneakers with bomber jacket-inspired looks, which lend themselves to a unique colorway.
The standard adidas NMD_R1 in its standard form is one of the most talked about sneakers from the last few years. By now, the silhouette has taken on so many colorways and new designs that ignoring the NMD line is just impossible. Now, adidas is adding another brilliant variation of the R1 to their Summer lineup. The new “Bomber Jacket” pack brings together two basic NMD colorways with a distinct theme inspired by flight jackets of the past. Both shoes begin with a tonal mesh upper with bright orange inner linings and a red NMD heel tab to complete the look. The first pair from this exciting new pack comes with a plain black upper, while the second will launch in adidas’ signature Trace Green colorway.

The new bomber jacket-themed adidas NMD_R1 pack has not been given an official release date yet, though they are expected in stores soon.
