Paris Fashion Week has become one of the biggest biannual events in the sneaker world. Brands have descended on Paris this week to show off upcoming projects, including Mowalola and their “Burnt Red” Air Jordan 14.
Jordan brand has opened the floodgates for collaborative takes on their iconic basketball shoes. While we’ve seen plenty of special projects over the years, the next few months of releases seem to bring a tidal wave of limited-editions. CdG, APB, and Jaide are all issuing pairs of the Air Jordan 11 soon, Free the Youth just unveiled their AJ16, and Slam Jam is reportedly working on an Air Jordan 8 release for early 2027. One of the other releases we’ve been tracking since 2025 is a team-up from Mowalola and the Jumpman, featuring the Air Jordan 14.
Leaks regarding the Mowalola x Jordan collab first appeared last year, claiming that the project would introduce a Mule version of the AJ14. These rumors were confirmed just last month with the first appearance of the modified sneaker, removing the heel section and transforming the shoe into a low-top. With the eponymous brand making an appearance at Paris Fashion Week right now, we also have an early look at their standard pair of the Jordan 14. The style comes in a “Burnt Red” colorway, which has the appearance of aged brown leather in these photos. The Mowalola script is scrawled across the outer side of each shoe, just like the Mule, and framed in black for the soles and tongues.

Mowalola’s pair of the Air Jordan 14 is scheduled to release this Fall, currently slated for a drop on September 18th, 2026. The project colors the retro basketball shoe in a “Burnt Red” look, with their script logo running across the outer wall of each shoe. Pairs will release alongside the AJ14 Mule variant, both of which are expected to launch from both partners, as well as select retailers. Pricing for the standard lace-up model is set at $255.
