The race to become the first Air Jordan 11 collaborator is on. After Comme des Garçon previewed their take on the model early this year, new-ish retailer JAIDE has entered the race with their “Fiberglass” take on the Air Jordan 11 Low, coming soon.
2026 will go down in sneaker history as a historic moment for the Air Jordan 11. In the past few decades, we’ve watched Jordan Brand repeal some of the protections surrounding their iconic sneakers, opening up classic Jumpman models to be featured in collaborative releases. Travis Scott reversed the Swoosh on the AJ1, and A Ma Maniére has been pushing their signature muted colors on the AJ3, 4, and 5. In January, Comme des Garçon previewed their Fall 2026 catalog, which included black & white pairs of the Air Jordan 11, a model that has never released in a collaborative look to the public.
When the CdG project was first announced, it set the sneaker internet on fire. The Air Jordan 11 is still one of the most beloved models in the Jordan Brand lineup, featured each year in their annual holiday release which is produced in enormous, unheard of quantities for an Air Jordan shoe. Around the same time, leaks suggested that APB, a member of The Whitaker Group family of retailers, was also working on a “Binary Blue” pair of the Air Jordan 11 Low. Now, JAIDE, also a Whitaker Group member, has secured an AJ11 release for themselves, and the race is on. CdG’s pairs are likely to arrive after Summer, and the APB look does not have a known timeline quite yet, leaving JAIDE’s expected Summer release as the most likely option for the debut AJ11 collab. Their take on the low-top is similar to past projects, casting the shoe in a soft green “Fiberglass” shade with matching icy soles, white accents, and a black Jumpman on the heels.

The upcoming release from The Whitaker Group retailer JAIDE has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to arrive during the Summer 2026 season. If the store manages to get their Air Jordan 11 Low collaboration out soon, they will become the very first Jumpman partner to ever release a pair of the Air Jordan 11, a title CdG was headed for with their impending Fall pairs. The drop will likely be available first from Jaide, followed by a wider SNKRS and retailers release, for $205.
