New Balance Brings a Striking Red & Black Combo to the Made in USA 993

New Balance’s latest edition of the Made in USA 993 is one of the most striking looks we’ve seen from the Boston brand in sometime. The new pair mixed vivid red uppers with a jet black secondary tone, coming soon.

The New Balance 993 debuted in 2008 as part of the brand’s revered 99X series, blending elements from the earlier 991 and 992 models into a streamlined silhouette with upgraded ABZORB cushioning and Dynamic Transitioning System for enhanced comfort and stability. It became known for its balanced mix of retro running heritage and everyday wearability, earning a loyal following among sneaker enthusiasts. The silhouette has become a part of the Made in USA line in recent years, under creative direction from Teddy Santis, as well as participating in high-profile collaborations with Kith, JJJJound, and more. This week, the silhouette has surfaced in a fresh in-line color scheme for Made in USA, and is one of the more eye-catching looks we’ve seen from the sub-label in recent seasons. The colorway pits the mesh, leather, and suede layers of the upper entirely in a bright red shade, emphasized by the inky black tone for the midsole and tongue sections. N logos stand out in a metallic silver finish, while even the USA flag on the heels is colored in black & red.
