JJJJound Teases Two New Balance 993 Colors for 2024

JJJJound has made their projects with New Balance an annual release over the last few years, dropping one or two silhouettes with the Boston brand each year. This week, they’ve teased their latest work in a new lookbook, taking on the 993 with two neutral color schemes in store for late 2024.

JJJJound and New Balance began their partnership back in 2018, which marked the first foray into sneakers for the upscale basics brand. Founded by Justin Sauders, what began as a digital moodboard has grown into a well known name in fashion, mostly for their luxurious takes on classic silhouettes, like sweatsuits and mens dress shirts. They have followed up on their New Balance collaboration with numerous other sneaker projects, including a long-standing collaboration with Reebok.

This week, JJJJound shared a new lookbook for the Fall/Winter 2024 season, which included a teaser of their next work with the Boston footwear brand. The latest project will focus on the 993, their first release of the silhouette, in two colorways. Sticking to their standard color palettes, one pair features the 993 in a soft khaki brown shade, with black accents for the mid layers, branding, and midsoles. The second comes in a greyscale look, with white accents to add a bit more to the palette.

JJJJOUND X NEW BALANCE 993 RELEASE INFORMATION

JJJJound and New Balance have yet to announce their next collaboration together, but the appearance of the 993 in multiple previews means they are likely coming before the end of 2024. Two colorways have been shown, a brown & black mix and a greyscale pair, both likely to come with a price tag of around $240.
