Anthony Edwards second signature sneaker, the AE2, made its debut in the Georgia-themed colorway early this month. Now, we are looking ahead to the holiday season, with an asymmetrical “Christmas” themed pair coming in December.
The holiday season is right around the corner, which means plenty of new sneaker releases to unwrap. Holiday season drops typically start right after Thanksgiving, like Jordan Brand’s annual AJ11 release, and continue all the way up to Christmas day, when NBA teams play in some of our favorite games of the year in special-edition jerseys and sneakers. This week, we have an early look at what Anthony Edwards is expected to lace up this year, in the form of his brand new AE2 silhouette. adidas has prepped a unique colorway for this year, which will release to the public just days before Christmas morning. The look features an asymmetrical design, with the lateral walls of the shoe dressed in a neon Lucid Red tone. The medial walls come in a neon green shade, and the shoe’s outsole is split down the middle sharing both hues.
ADIDAS AE2 “CHRISTMAS” RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas has not yet officially announced their “Christmas” colorway of the AE2 silhouette, but pairs are currently expected to release on December 20th, 2025. Featuring an asymmetrical color scheme of neon red and green shades split down the middle, pairs will be available from both adidas and select retailers for $130.
