adidas has a wave of new silhouettes debuting this season, building on top of other popular releases from recent years. This week, we got our first look at the Mocaturf Adventure in ‘Wild Brown’, coming soon.
Last year, adidas Originals went big with the Superturf Adventure, a hybrid performance and lifestyle model that originally debuted as a part of Consortium’s Gardening-themed collection. Since then, the Three Stripes have continued to build on top of the aggressive looking adiPrene+ sole unit used in the original model, coming up with a number of new silhouettes to expand the line. Recently, an upcoming silhouette dubbed the Mocaturf Adventure was previewed in the brand’s FW22 lookbook, and has begun to surface at retail overseas. Inspired by handmade moccasin shoes, the silhouette uses a simplified upper constructed from suede to achieve the moccasin-like look. Seen here in a smooth ‘Wild Brown’ color scheme, the tonal look adds nubuck heel counters for extra support, while a darker brown sole rests underneath.
ADIADS MOCATURF ADVENTURE ‘WILD BROWN’ RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas Originals’ new Mocaturf Adventure silhouette made its debut earlier this week via the brand’s Moroccan website, though no stateside release date has been announced yet. Dressed in a smooth ‘Wild Brown’ color scheme, the Moccasin-inspired silhouette will come with a price tag of approximately $185, releasing from both adidas and select retailers.
