adidas Originals’ Response CL has quietly been one of their best new offerings in recent years, combining plush comfort with a retro aesthetic. This week, the silhouette surfaced in a new ‘Green Oxide’ tone, coming soon.
adidas’ vintage-styled sneakers are consistently some of the best shoes on offer from the Three Stripes. Originally released last year, the Response CL is one of the latest to join the family, refining the 2003 Response Cushion for the modern day. Now, after a few months off, the Response CL is set to return in new colorways for fall, including this ‘Green Oxide’ color scheme. The look begins with an olive green mesh base layer, adding lush green leather and suede overlays throughout the silhouette. Taped overlays at the midfoot add extra support, while the signature Three Stripes stand out in navy blue. Finally, a brown inner lining and white midsole complete the new look.
