adidas Originals’ revival of the beloved ZX 8000 is not over yet, as the brand still has at least one more release planned for 2021. Check out the new “Linen Green” colorway of the Boost-filled ZX 8000, coming soon.
Last year the adidas Originals team introduced an exciting new version of the beloved ZX 8000 to the brand’s arsenal. On the surface, the 2020 update did not change much to the 8k’s appearance, in fact, in changed nothing at all about the outward styling of the classic running shoe. Instead, the adidas team made the simplest, and most impressive change possible by hiding a pod of Boost cushioning inside the heels of all new ZX 8000 pairs. While not immediately noticeable, and still not even visible unless you know its there, the change adapts the ZX 8000 for the modern day, shifting the vintage style into a more fitting lifestyle category. This week, the Three Stripes team have unveiled their latest colorway of the ZX 8000, casting the shoe in a soft “Linen Green” shade across the layered upper.

adidas’ latest colorway of the fan-favorite ZX 8000 silhouette has not yet been announced for release, but they are expected to hit shelves in the next two weeks. The “Linen Green” color scheme will be available from both adidas and select retailers like Aphrodite for $140.
