Vans’ high-top Sk8-Hi silhouette is getting a new Winter-ready update this week, casting the beloved skate shoe with new Cordura fabric uppers paired with Sherpa fleece lining for the coming colder months.

California skate brand Vans has long extended past their initial world of skateboarding, with their simple and clean arsenal of retro sneakers often referred to as some of the best lifestyle shoes on the market. The timeless models are endlessly receiving new updates to their cushioning and styling to keep them that way, and this month, the fan-favorite Sk8-Hi is getting a cold weather update just in time for Winter. Arriving in two colorways, plain black and a tan ‘Walnut’ look, the latest update rebuilds the uppers in durable Cordura nylon fabrics, while the inner linings feature a warm sherpa fleece to keep your feet warm during outdoor expeditions.
