Vans’ Anaheim, CA factory always has something special up their sleeves. This week, the Los Angeles-based factory unveiled a special new project, casting the classic Authentic 44 DX in all-over cow print corduroy, available now.

Vans’ California-based factory in Anaheim acts as the skate brand’s experimental manufacturing facility, producing a number of special projects for releases around the world. The facility is most frequently known for reviving some of Vans’ archival sneakers, from the days of the simple numbered models, recreating them as closely to the originals as possible. This week, the Anaheim team cooked up a special-edition release of the classic 44 DX, the most common model now known as the Authentic, covering the fan-favorite silhouette in an all-over cow print and constructed from a ridged corduroy fabric for an interesting new spin on the beloved model.
