Undercover’s long-standing partnership with Nike have brought us some incredible sneakers, a trend that appears to continue into 2022. Check out the latest project to emerge from the two, combining the Air Force 1 and ACG Air Revaderchi.

Undercover and Nike have something interesting up their sleeve for 2022, teased at Jun Takahashi’s Spring/Summer show earlier this week. Spotted amongst the collection was a new project from the storied designer and Nike, transforming the classic Air Force 1 into an entirely new silhouette thanks to the inclusion of some elements from the vintage ACG Air Revaderchi, a mid-cut hiking shoe originally released back in 1993. The new Undercover x Nike project sees the classic upper of the Air Force 1 mixed with the Revaderchi’s neoprene inner bootie, as well as the ACG model’s signature heel counter, now reimagined entirely in stiff TPU plastic. So far, the Undercover x Nike Air Force 1 Low has been spotted in three colorways, a triple white, a white/black/magenta look that pays homage to the original Revaderchi, and a third pair sporting an all-over print that is somewhat akin to an incredibly intricate Renaissance painting, depicting humans and plant life in black and white.

The upcoming project from Jun Takahashi’s Undercover and Nike, featuring the Air Force 1 Low, has not yet been announced for release, though they are slated to drop sometime in 2022. Currently very little information is known about this project, other than the images seen here, though we can assume that these pairs will release form both Nike and select retailers with a significant increase to the price tag. Check out the early images below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more Nike release news.
