Undercover and Nike have been cooking up a new edition of the Air Force 1, combining the classic shoe with elements form the ACG Air Revaderchi. Featuring a Gore-Tex inner lining, the shoes arrive later this season.
The upcoming Undercover x Nike Air Force 1 first popped up last year, showing off a mash-up of the classic basketball shoe and the ACG Air Revaderchi. We initially saw a handful of colorways in their teaser last year, now, we are inching closer to the release with the emergence of official imagery. This week, we got our first look at a new all-black color scheme, which covers the leather upper in an inky black tone. The shoe combines the classic look of the Air Force 1 with the Revaderchi’s heel cage and inner bootie added for both stability and water resistance. On that note, the shoe’s Gore-Tex lining pads the inside of the shoe, providing a water-tight seal for the upcoming rainy months.
UNDERCOVER X NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW ‘BLACK’ RELEASE INFORMATION
Undercover and Nike’s upcoming release of the Air Force 1 Low has not yet been announced, though they are expected to arrive in stores sometime in the coming weeks. The Gore-Tex-clad modified AF1 silhouette will likely be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers, with a price tag probably in the $180+ range.
