The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 Collection Releases Tomorrow

We knew this year’s Air Max celebration was going to be huge but we didn’t know Nike was going to go this crazy. It appears Travis Scott will be highlighting Air Max Month with his very own Cactus Jack Air Max 1.

While Air Max Day is a little different this year from years past due to the ongoing pandemic, Nike has turned their lemons into lemonade with a full virtual event accessible to just about anyone for Air Max Day. While we don’t have a clear indication of what the celebration will look like in terms of releases, this morning, we got an early look at a Cactus Jack Air Max 1 that is set to highlight this year’s annual celebration.

From the teaser video, the Nike Air Max 1 appears to look exactly like one would think a Cactus Jack Air Max 1 would look like. Featuring an olive tone as we all have learned to love thanks to La Flame, the 1990 silhouette is decked out in 3M reflective detailing, along with red and black accents that find themselves on the laces that match with a sleek Cactus Jack branded ankle patch.

While the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 was teased by SNKRS, as of now we don’t have too much information to give when it comes to release information, other than an official release is set to go down soon. With Air Max day also going down on March 26th, we expect more details to surface soon. UPDATE 5/11: After getting postponed, the Travis Scott and Nike partnership looks to be returning according to new information. Two colorways of both the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 are expected to release May 20th at Space Village, followed by a wider release on May 27th at select retailers. Stay tuned for further updates.
