It’s the last weekend of October and brands have definitely prepared a great lineup of sneaker releases to send off the month in a huge way. With the help of SneakerLinks we round up the top sneaker releases that are going down this weekend.
You all probably know already but if you don’t we just launched SneakerLinks.com, our new site that provides an updated way to shop all things sneakers. Featured on every shoe’s release hub is a like button, although just a small feature, this is how we will be coming to our conclusions on which sneakers make the top three. This will be a reoccurring segment for you to look forward to every weekend so make sure to like the sneakers that you feel deserve to be in the top 3 or should be noticed by the community. Without further ado, let’s see what releases are going down and which ones made the winners podium this weekend.
With it being the opening week of the NBA season, we have seen our fair share of signature basketball shoes but this weekend has a couple more that are ready to be released. The Nike Zoom KD 12 Youtube will be released tomorrow as well as the adidas Harden Vol. 4 Pink Lemonade. Both arrive with a unique upper and will definitely be a hit among fans. Other releases include the Undisputed x Nike Air Force 1 More Than and the adidas Ozweego 3-D pack that features two editions of the new silhouette. A pretty packed weekend and we haven’t even gotten into the Top 3 of the weekend. But let’s take a dive into the winner’s podium now and see what you guys were liking this weekend the best.
#3 – CONCEPTS X NIKE KYRIE 5 “ORIONS BELT”
Concepts and Kyrie team up on his 5th signature shoe which might be the last one we see release before his Nike Kyrie 6 is introduced. As we saw the Concepts add their “Ikhet” take on the silhouette last December, they definitely put together another great colorway with this “Orions Belt” iteration.
#2 – ADIDAS YEEZY BOOST 700 “TEAL BLUE”
Yes, another Yeezy 700 but this time the colorway is actually a pretty nice one. There’s definitely OG Wave Runner vibes at its core while it takes on a variety of different shades of blue and grey. It also arrives with two different pairs of laces, something we have never gotten before. While the Yeezy releases have been given out on a regular basis now, you can’t go wrong with this fresh “Teal Blue” iteration.
#1 – AIR JORDAN 1 “SHATTERED BACKBOARD 3.0”
The community spoke and topping the list as the #1 shoe to release this weekend is a no-doubter. While the leather wasn’t perceived well at first, it has grown on many so far and after the release, we all know how Jordan 1’s do. With Halloween next week, these are dropping at the perfect time and will be rocked by a lot of sneakerheads on All Hallow’s Eve which is actually pretty cool. These will definitely be the hardest out of the bunch to get this weekend so do not sleep on the already classic Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard 3.0”.
