thisisneverthat has gained a large amount of attention over the last few years, producing excellent streetwear in addition to their many footwear collaborations. Today, we have a first look at an upcoming release with New Balance, featuring the 550.
Korea’s thisisneverthat label began their relationship with New Balance in 2019, and has since produced regular collaborative projects with the Boston brand. Last Fall, the two released a very popular pack featuring the 1906R and the 2002R, both staples of the NB arsenal. Now, an early look at another essential New Balance sneaker has surfaced, the 550. TINT has cooked up a dark new color scheme for the retro model, casting the shoe in a brown canvas upper with midsoles, laces, and linings in black. Other details include a cracked dark green ‘N’ logo, metal eyelets for the laces, and thisisneverthat branding on the tongues and heels.
THISISNEVERTHAT NEW BALANCE 550 RELEASE INFORMATION
Korean streetwear brand thisisneverthat has not yet announced the release of their upcoming New Balance 550, though they are currently expected to arrive sometime in Fall 2023. The brown canvas look will likely be available first from the TINT website, followed by a wider release with an expected price tag of $150.
