Thisisneverthat and New Balance collaborations have been swinging for the fences this year, and their latest is no different. Launched overseas last month, the 2002R finally lands stateside today.
New Balance’s retro rollout of the classics 2002 runner has gotten off to a great start so far, with the success of Salehe Bembury, Thisisneverthat, and the Invincible x N. HOOLYWOOD pairs launched in the past few weeks. Most were obtainable, save for the Korean-exclusive release from Thisisneverthat that kept two special-edition colorways of the vintage runner locked in Asia for the past month. Lucky for us, Thisisneverthat’s grey colorway of the 2002R is landing in the United States today, giving us a chance to grab the second release from this line of collaborations. Decked out in premium leathers dyed grey, this pair also features a flash of blue along the heel and a black midsole to complete the look.
