It was rumored and now it’s finally here but we never expected this. Supreme has teamed up with Takashi Murakami for a COVID-19 Relief Box Logo Tee that everyone will be out to get.
When I first saw the news, I had to check the date to make sure I didn’t go back in time and it was April Fools. While Supreme is known for their Box Logo’s, this one with Takashi Murakami is a dream come true for many and is honestly a crazy design that many thought only existed in mock-ups. The design features the iconic Supreme Box Logo across the chest with Takashi flowers all throughout the background, simple but exactly what we wanted. On the back of the tee, Takashi branding is placed in as well as the meaning behind the tee, COVID-19. Sadly if any Box Logo was going to sell out, it would be this one. Hopefully somehow, some way Supreme will allow manual users to get a chance to purchase although expect the site to be extremely packed and slow either way.
The tee will be releasing Friday, 11AM EST on Supremenewyork.com for $60 so there’s a good chance it might release differently than normal, but who knows.
