Familiar with each other from the past, it’s been a while since Kaws and Supreme teamed up with each other for an official collaboration but it looks like that wait is officially over with this SS21 rumor.
The last collaboration from the two was 10 years ago, all the way back in 2011 for a collaboration that housed skate decks and hoodies. Now as the two have drastically gotten bigger over the years, they may be teaming up once again for the SS21 season. The reason as to why the rumor started was when users would refresh Kaws’ website a Supreme box log would flash onto the page for a brief second. Although it could possibly be a glitch, which it very well may be, the mishap obviously shows signs of future plans between the duo, and with Supreme going all-in on the SS21 season, and Kaws knocking out collaborations left and right, the question really isn’t if it will happen whether just only when it will happen.
Supreme’s SS21 season kicks off next week with the lookbook/preview and Week 1 going down all on the same week, so keep it locked for updates, reviews, and weekly Supreme information from JustFreshKicks. UPDATE 2/14: Supreme x KAWS is now confirmed to be releasing for Spring/Summer 2021. Thanks to information from Dropsbyjay, the two will be releasing a box logo hoodie, tees, decks and more. With the lookbook/preview going live tomorrow at 6:30AM EST, stay tuned for more details on the collection.
